Dr. Steve Meadows is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with advanced fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine.
After completing his internship in general surgery at the North Shore University Hospital of Cornell University, Dr. Meadows performed his orthopedic residency training at the Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute, where he served as chief resident for his final year of training.
He then received fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Hand Center at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, which is renowned for its pioneering efforts in tendon surgery and techniques of hand rehabilitation.
Dr. Meadows is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Society for Surgery of the Hand. He is also a member of the Florida Medical Association.
Dr. Steve Meadows has been in private practice of orthopedic surgery since 1992. He practices general orthopedic surgery with a subspecialty interest in shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand problems. He performs numerous shoulder surgeries per year, including rotator cuff repair, shoulder replacement, reverse shoulder replacement, and numerous general trauma surgery including fracture surgery of the Hip, Knee and Ankle.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Meadows was also the Chief Medical Officer of iHealthSpot Interactive, a leading provider of websites and digital marketing to the healthcare industry. Dr. Meadows oversaw all medical content development – including written, animated, and video content for iHealthSpot’s patient education library – and is responsible for leading the efforts that have resulted in nine "WWW Health Awards" for excellence in online patient education. Dr. Meadows also oversaw iHealthSpot Interactive’s provider editorial board.
Dr. Steve Meadows is a Palm Beach County hand and upper extremity surgeon with a private practice at South Palm Orthopedics in Delray Beach, Florida.
